This volunteer-led event represents the family building journey-a series of small steps, each one filled with hope and a reminder that no one with infertility should walk alone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upcoming Events:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More events coming in 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start A RESOLVE Walk or Fundraiser in Your Area:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Friends, families, organizations, healthcare and family building professionals, and support groups organize <em>Walks of Hope <\/em>to honor those who have been touched by infertility. Team members make a difference by asking their colleagues, friends, family and acquaintances to support them with a donation to the infertility movement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteers make our common goals a reality:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raise funds to support RESOLVE&#8217;s mission and programs<\/li>\n<li>Bring people together in your local area to support the infertility community<\/li>\n<li>Raise awareness about infertility and RESOLVE<\/li>\n<li>Improve the lives of people living with infertility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In communities across America, infertility warriors are gathering people together to make a difference and to show that no one should have to go through infertility alone. Walk participants share an incredible experience, exchange stories and take pride in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of the 1 in 6 couples diagnosed with infertility.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhat does a successful Walk of Hope look like?\n\t\t\t\t<p>There is no single answer to that question. You might choose to get together with your support group and their friends and families and walk around your neighborhood. You might recruit a large committee, reserve a public space, secure sponsors, print t-shirts, hold a silent auction, have entertainment and go crazy. Or, you might do something in between.<\/p>\n<p>Your measures of success are having a well planned and executed event, providing a meaningful experience for those who attend, and meeting the goals you set.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/resolve2010\/albums\/with\/72157708178454655\">Click here to see photos from previous Walks.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\tThe Role and Responsibilities of the Walk Chair\n\t\t\t\t<p><em>Walk<\/em> Chairs and their teams help make a meaningful impact on the 7.3 million Americans living with infertility by helping to raise much needed funds and spread infertility awareness in local communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Walk of Hope<\/em> Chair responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit and manage volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Recruit participants<\/li>\n<li>Raise funds<\/li>\n<li>Coach fundraisers<\/li>\n<li>Promote your Walk<\/li>\n<li>Plan and follow a budget<\/li>\n<li>Secure in-kind donations or funding for all Walk expenses<\/li>\n<li>Plan and execute walk day logistics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\tFirst Steps\n\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Please <a href=\"https:\/\/act.resolve.org\/page\/52035\/survey\/1?ea.tracking.id=website\">complete this form<\/a> to indicate your interest in hosting a <em>Walk<\/em> in your area.<\/li>\n<li>Once you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know your form has been received.<\/li>\n<li>Once your <em>Walk of Hope<\/em> has been approved, you will also receive a link to your <em>Walk&#8217;s<\/em> fundraising and registration portal and instructions on how to use it. In addition, a toolbox of helpful RESOLVE resources will be available for your use.<\/li>\n<li>Recruit friends, family members, business associates, and infertility professionals from your community to join your committee.<\/li>\n<li>Set a date for your <em>Walk<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Set a goal and plan with team members how to reach fundraising goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\tWhat to expect from RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association\n\t\t\t\t<p>&#8220;Volunteer-led&#8221; doesn&#8217;t mean you are completely on your own. We can provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set up of your registration and fundraising platform using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.classy.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Classy software<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Registration reports<\/li>\n<li>A toolkit with policies and guidelines, forms and templates, fundraising ideas, social media tips, and marketing materials<\/li>\n<li>Information about infertility professionals in your local community<\/li>\n<li>Management of sponsor funds<\/li>\n<li>Email to RESOLVE&#8217;s list in your area (you provide the content)<\/li>\n<li>Answers to questions and other support as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Should you have questions, RESOLVE staff is here to help you through your journey as a Walk Chair!
