The National Health Council demands the highest standards of accountability and ethical practice from its patient advocacy group members to assure the public that these organizations are worthy of support.RESOLVE&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/resolve.org\/about-us\/our-financials\/\">Annual Reports and organizational 990s<\/a> are posted on the RESOLVE website. The <a href=\"https:\/\/resolve.org\/about-us\/team\/board\/\">RESOLVE Board of Directors <\/a>contracts a management company, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wearemci.com\/en-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MCI USA<\/a>, to provide staffing and administrative support. Approximately 83% of all funding for RESOLVE is directed to programs and services in support of our mission.<h5><strong>History:<\/strong><\/h5>Founded in 1974 in Belmont, MA by Barbara Eck, a nurse experiencing her own struggle with infertility, RESOLVE hosted support groups and a way for people to connect with others. For many years RESOLVE had chapters in cities and states throughout the U.S.<h5><strong>Support Groups:<\/strong><\/h5>A <a href=\"https:\/\/resolve.org\/get-help\/support-groups\/\">RESOLVE support group<\/a> can help participants feel less isolated, empower them with knowledge and validate their emotional response to the life crisis of infertility. The freedom to express negative feelings and to identify with one another helps participants realize that they are not alone.<strong><br \/><\/strong><h5><strong>Social Media:<\/strong><\/h5>RESOLVE provides community through its extensive social media presence on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/RESOLVE-The-National-Infertility-Association\/57774720835\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/WatchRESOLVE?feature=mhum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/resolve2010\/sets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Flickr<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/resolve.org\/get-help\/online-support-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Inspire<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/resolveorg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups?mostPopular=&amp;trk=myg_ugrp_ovr&amp;gid=1865199\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LinkedIn<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@resolveorg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TikTok<\/a>.<strong><br \/><\/strong><h5><strong>Advocacy:<\/strong><\/h5>RESOLVE advocates on the <a href=\"https:\/\/resolve.org\/advocacy\/our-issues\/\">state and national level <\/a>for health care coverage for infertility, medical research, adoption benefits, and access to all family building options. RESOLVE hosts the only federal <a href=\"https:\/\/resolve.org\/events\/advocacy-day\/\">Advocacy Day <\/a>in Washington, D.C. for the family building community and has been at the forefront of fighting state legislation that would harm access to any family building option.<h5><strong>Grassroots Volunteers:<\/strong><\/h5>RESOLVE mobilizes and trains an extensive network of <a href=\"https:\/\/resolve.org\/get-involved\/volunteer\/\">grassroots advocates <\/a>on the state level who engage in all levels of advocacy from sending emails, researching and tracking bills, to meeting with and educating state legislators about infertility.<h5><strong>Speakers&#8217; Bureau:<\/strong><\/h5>RESOLVE has a network of spokespeople ready to address questions from the media and available for interview.
